I-96 Freeway Flex Route (Kent Lake Road to I-275/696/M5 Interchange)

Description: 
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has Dan's Excavating, Inc., under contract to construct a 'Flex Route' lane using the existing median shoulder, on-ramp metering,
and variable speed advisories/travel information message boards within the project limits. The median shoulders will be reconstructed to be used as an additional lane during peak
travel periods, special events, maintenance activities, and incidents/crashes. The ramp meters or ramp signals will consist of a two-section signal light (red and green only, no yellow)
together with a signal controller, that will regulate the flow of traffic entering the freeway. This system is very similar to the US-23 flex route installed outside Ann Arbor. The contractor
elected to replace all main-line I-96 pavement in concrete in lieu of asphalt.

Traffic Control/Detours:
Eastbound and Westbound I-96, from Kent Lake Road to I-275, will have TWO LANES OPEN at all times, through late fall of 2023. Motorists should be cautious of equipment and trucks entering and exiting the freeway from the median construction zone. The westbound M-5 ramp to westbound I-96 will be CLOSED, through late fall of 2023. Also, the westbound I-696 connector to westbound I-96 will have only ONE LANE OPEN, through late fall of 2023.

I-275 Repair and Rehabilitation Improvements (Six Mile Road to Will Carlton Road) 24 Miles

Description: 
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will look to repair 24 miles of I-275 as part of the "Rebuilding Michigan" initiative, starting the summer of 2021 which will take place in
6 phases over a 4-year period. The work will include asphalt and concrete repairs and replacements, repairs on 65 bridges, construction of retaining walls, drainage improvements,
signage replacements, sidewalk improvements and tree replacements. The project will also include repair to parts of the I-275 Metro Trail Pathway system which runs alongside the
interstate.

Traffic Control/Detours: 
At least two lanes of traffic in both directions will be open at all times through the construction zone. However, some ramps will see temporary closures, intermittently throughout the
duration of the project. See special construction notice below in the 'Work Status' for emergency work and associated closures.

Work Status: 
Beginning Tuesday, September 5, MDOT will be closing the northbound I-275 ramps (Exit 29) to both eastbound I-96 and westbound M-14 for bridge work, until mid-November. There will be single lane closures at bridge overpasses on Koppernick Road, Van Born Road, South Huron Drive, Schoolcraft Road, and Hines Drive from February through late September. The eastbound Ann Arbor Road loop ramp to northbound I-275 will be closed in 2023. Rebuilding Michigan I - 696 Project from I-275 to Evergreen Road (9.5 Miles)

Description: 
Also, as part of the "Rebuilding Michigan" initiative, the Michigan Department of Transportation will be reconstructing I-696 (eastbound and westbound) from I-275 to Evergreen Road.
The majority of the rebuilding work will occur during 2023-2024 and will include rebuilding the roadway from the base up, along with storm sewer replacements and reconstructing
ramps at Orchard Lake Road, American Drive, Franklin Road, M-10 (Northwestern Highway), and US-24 (Telegraph Road).

Traffic Control/Detours:
In 2023, two lanes of traffic in each direction will be provided on the westbound side in order to completely close the eastbound side. Once complete, the opposite will be the case in 2024 which will have two lanes of traffic in each direction on the eastbound side while westbound is reconstructed. The detour for this current work is northbound I-275 to westbound Ecorse Road to southbound I-275, then to I-94. The Drake Road closure will have NB detoured to 11 Mile Road and SB traffic detoured to 12 Mile Road. Detours for the Farmington Road bridge closures are as follows: Northbound will use EB 11 Mile to NB Orchard Lake to WB 12 Mile; Southbound will use EB 12 Mile to SB Orchard Lake to WB 11 Mile.

Work Status: Construction continues on eastbound I-696. All EB and WB traffic will be shifted to the westbound side where TWO LANES will remain open in both directions through late fall of 2023. Also, the following ramps will remain closed through late fall of 2023: NB Telegraph to EB I-696; EB I-696 to American Drive; SB Orchard Lake to EB I-696; NB Orchard Lake to WB I-696; and WB M-5 to WB I-96. 54-Inch Water Transmission Main Loop (8-14 Mile Roads)

Description: 

This is a Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) project involving the construction of a 54-inch transmission water main to interconnect two existing GLWA transmission mains at 14 Mile and
8 Mile Roads. The project was initiated in response to a pipe failure in October 2017 that greatly impacted Novi, Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield, Commerce, Walled Lake, and Wixom
communities. This new main will provide redundancy and improved operational flexibility for routine maintenance or emergency situations. Phase 1 begun under a different contract
back in late 2020 to extend an existing 24-inch transmission main along 14 Mile Road, between M-5 and Decker/Novi Roads. This Phase 2 project was bid out publicly and GLWA
awarded $98 Million to the Joint Venture team of Ric-Man Construction and Clark Construction. As an added benefit, the City (through a cost share agreement with GLWA) will
reconstruct four (4) road segments: 11 Mile Road from Seeley to Meadowbrook; Meadowbrook Road from 11 Mile to 12 Mile; Meadowbrook Road from 12 Mile to 13 Mile; and 13 Mile
Road from Meadowbrook to M-5.

Traffic Control/Detours: 
Meadowbrook Road is currently closed to through traffic from just north of Hummingdale Boulevard (north of 12 Mile Road) to just south of the Crosspointe Meadows church entrance. The traffic control plan for 11 Mile (Meadowbrook to Seeley) work will be eastbound ONLY. The posted detour is south on Seeley Road to westbound Grand River Avenue, northbound on Meadowbrook Road back to 11 Mile Road. Work involving the crossing of Meadowbrook Road at I-96 will close Meadowbrook Road at that location. Businesses and homes located north of I-96 must be accessed from 12 Mile Road. Businesses and homes located south of I-96 must be accessed from 11 Mile or Grand River Avenue.

Work Status:

13 Mile Road (M-5 to Meadowbrook) - The contractor has completed the installation of the new 54-inch water main along the southside of 13 Mile. Welders are complete inside the pipe and the contractor is now beginning to place compacted backfill around the pipe and bring up grade for the road way. Contractor is slated to pave 13 Mile with asphalt the week of September 18 and reopen the roadway to normal traffic operations shortly after.

Meadowbrook (12 to 13 Mile) - The contractor has also completed the new pipe installation and temporarily paved back the area from 13 Mile Road to the Meadowbrook Elementary school.

Meadowbrook (I-96 to 12 Mile) - The worst of three areas was temporarily patched in order to make it safer for the motoring public. The permanent asphalt for the roadway is expected to be paved in the spring of 2024.

Meadowbrook (11 Mile to I-96) - The contractor has completed all the water main on Meadowbrook from 11 Mile to I-96 to include the crossing, just north of Bridge Street. Meadowbrook Road in this section is currently back open to normal traffic operations on temporary pavement.

11 Mile (Meadowbrook to Seeley) - The new 54-inch water main has been installed on this segment as well as most of the City's 12- inch water main for that same length. Upon completion of the Meadowbrook (11 Mile to I-96) segment, the 11 Mile roadway will be repaved. 

10 Mile Road Widening and Rehabilitation (Meadowbrook to Haggerty Roads)

Description: 
The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) in cooperation with the City of Novi is looking to rehabilitate and widen 10 Mile Road, between Meadowbrook and Haggerty Roads
for a continuous 3-lane roadway with a dedicated left turn lane. Also included with this project is replacing two concrete culverts under the roadway; replacing existing water main,
recently completed; repairing and replacing pavement at the Haggerty/10 Mile intersection, completed in 2022; upgrading traffic signals at 10 Mile/Meadowbrook and 10
Mile/Cranbrooke Drive; and the addition of an 8-foot concrete sidewalk on the south side of 10 Mile and filling in gaps of 6-foot concrete sidewalk on the north side. Detailed project information can be found here.

Traffic Control/Detours: 
During road construction operations for the widening, 10 Mile Road will be open to eastbound traffic only for the remainder of the project. The posted westbound detour will be northbound on Haggerty Road to westbound on Grand River Avenue to southbound Novi Road to eastbound on 10 Mile Road.

Work Status:
The paving contractor has finished placing the final wearing course of asphalt on all the lanes and street returns. This week, they plan to have all the existing structures in the road final adjusted and a concrete collar placed around each. The new open to traffic date is now Monday, September 18th which will be two full months ahead of schedule..

Novi Road Rehabilitation (9 Mile to 10 Mile Roads)

Description: 
The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) in cooperation with the City of Novi is looking to rehabilitate Novi Road, between 9 Mile and 10 Mile Roads by milling off the existing
asphalt surface from Vero Court (just south of 9 Mile Road) to Nick Lidstrom Drive (south of 10 Mile Road) and resurfacing with new asphalt in 2023. Also, included with this project is the
removal and replacement of three, existing culverts under the roadway; repairing and replacing pavement at the Novi/10 Mile intersection; upgrading traffic signals at 9 Mile
Road/Novi Road and Nick Lidstrom Drive/Novi Road; and some minor tree removal. Plans are to replace the three culverts and the concrete pavement in the 10 Mile/Novi Road
intersection this winter (2023) and the remainder of work to take place in the summer of 2023. Detailed project information can be found here.

Traffic Control/Detours:
There are no detours planned for the concrete replacement in the 10 Mile/Novi Road intersection work, but certain lanes may be temporarily closed and limits placed on certain turning movements. When the culvert replacement work takes place, Novi Road will need to be closed at those points. Businesses and residential areas north of Nick Lidstrom Drive will need to be accessed from 10 Mile Road. South of Nick Lidstrom Drive will need to be accessed from 9 Mile Road. The posted detour for this work will be 9 Mile Road to Meadowbrook Road to 10 Mile Road back to Novi Road and vice versa. For the actual road work, Novi Road will remain open for southbound traffic only. The detour for northbound traffic will be 9 Mile Road to Meadowbrook Road to 10 Mile Road and back to Novi Road.

Work Status:
The contractor is continuing to push forward on the southbound side of the road, but there are still twelve power poles with various utility companies on them within the construction limits. These poles will need to be removed before the widening construction can continue. The County expects to be substantially complete or open to traffic by mid-October.

2023 Simple Asphalt Resurfacing (Preservation Overlay) Program

Description: 
Preservation overlays that the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will be doing are also known as "simple resurfacing", which consists of placing 2 to 2.5 inches of asphalt on
the existing surface of the road. Some other minor work may include shoulder gravel restoration, raising existing structures to grade, and placement of temporary and permanent
pavement markings and symbols. There are currently sixteen (16) road segments planned for this year's program throughout the County. Two of those roads are located in or bordering
on the City of Novi's jurisdiction: (1) Novi Road, just south of 12 Mile Road to just north of Grand River Avenue; and (2) 8 Mile Road, between Napier and Taft Roads. Detailed project information can be found here.

Traffic Control/Detours: 
There are no detours necessary for this work. Traffic flow during construction will be under flag control. Local motorists may encounter delays for trucks and equipment entering and
leaving the work zone. Longer delays are expected at intersections. If the safety of motorists and workers become an issue, there could be an intermittent closure of individual lanes,
especially on a busy road like Novi Road.  

Work Status: 
The contractor has completed the paving on 8 Mile Road, from Napier to Taft Roads and on Napier Road from 8 to 9 Mile Roads. Milling and paving start dates of 14 Mile Road (East Lake Drive to Haggerty) are currently "To Be Determined" on RCOC's website, but are waiting until GLWA is complete with 13 Mile Road before proceeding. 

2023 Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program

Description: 
The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has developed a Preventative Maintenance Program for several of their bridges that does not warrant rehabilitation or
replacement. These programs are less intrusive while also extending the usable life of the bridge which is more cost-effective in the long term. One of the bridges selected is the Novi
Road bridge over the CSX Railroad tracks, just south of the Main Street/Bond Street intersection.

Traffic Control/Detours:
There are no detours necessary for this work. Traffic flow will be channeled, shifted and/or alternated between either the inside lanes or outside lanes, depending on the stage of
construction. Local motorists may encounter delays for trucks and equipment entering and leaving the work zone.

Work Status:
The RCOC is postponing this program until 2024.

2023 Neighborhood Road Program - Concrete Streets

Description: 
This is the second year of a 2022-23 contract whereby the City of Novi is undertaking the full reconstruction and/or rehabilitation of the following concrete street segments: Anthony
Drive, Wright Way and Williams Drive in the Cedarsprings Subdivision; Highlands Drive in the Meadowbrook Glens Subdivision; and Irvine Drive, Violet Lane, Bertram Drive, and Moorgate
Street in the Royal Crown Estates Subdivision. Other alternate street segments may be considered for inclusion dependent upon budget and contractor availability.

Traffic Control/Detours:
All construction will be performed half-width at a time. Motorists should expect longer delays while daytime work progresses. Residents located in the work zone on the side being
worked on, may not have access to their driveways until the concrete has been poured and cured.

Work Status:
The contractor has completed pouring back the patches and panels on Bertram Drive last week and should be able to fully reopen this week. Removals are complete on second side of Heathergreene Court and are moving over to begin removals on the east side of Highlands Drive starting from Park Ridge Drive.

2023 Neighborhood Road Program - Asphalt Streets

Description:
This is the second year of a 2022-23 contract whereby the City of Novi will be performing asphalt road work (full reconstruction, rehabilitation and/or repair) on the following street
segments: Clark Street, Lanny's Road, Woodham Road in the Echo Valley Subdivision, Woodham Road in the Mockingbird Glen Subdivision, Rochester Drive, Sandpiper Court,
Mockingbird Court, Red Pine Court, Stone Road, and Glenwood Drive. Other alternate street segments may be considered for inclusion dependent upon budget and contractor
availability.

Traffic Control/Detours:
All construction will be performed half-width at a time. Motorists should expect longer delays while daytime work progresses.

Work Status:
The final top course of new pavement has been placed on all streets in the 2023 program. Over the next few weeks, the prime contractors restoration sub will be grading out, reapplying top soil and seeding any areas disturbed during construction (mainly in areas where the curb and gutter was replaced).

Taft Road Rehabilitation & 9 Mile Roundabout (City Limits to 10 Mile Road)

Description:

The City of Novi hired a contractor to rehabilitate Taft Road from the City's southern limits (Galway Drive) to 10 Mile Road and construct a new roundabout at the intersection of Taft
Road and 9 Mile Road. The project was split up into two projects: Project 1 (2022) Roundabout while school is out of session for the summer (July 5 through September 1) and Project 2
(2023) Rehabilitate Taft Road, again while school is out of session for the summer (July 5 through September 2).

Traffic Control/Detours:
The contractor is now complete with the storm sewer installations, ditch grading, and road base preparation for the northbound lane of Taft Road, between 9 and 10 Mile Roads. The paving contractor will plan of having the first lift of new asphalt on the northbound lane this week. The grading contractor is also working on removals and asphalt pulverization on the northbound lane of Taft Road, between Galway Drive and 9 Mile Road (south of the new roundabout).

Work Status:
The contractor reopened the entire roadway to two-way traffic on Friday, September 1st. The roadway still has a final two-inch lift of asphalt to be placed which is expected to take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 23 and 24 in order to avoid a bulk of the Novi and Northville Schools traffic. The contractor is expecting to have the project complete by the end of September. The final lift or wearing course of asphalt will be placed under flag control with no need to close the road.  
 

2022/2023 Subdivision Water Main Replacements and Street Rehabilitation Program

Description:

The City's engineers have identified many areas throughout the City which requires a replacement of the water main due to the age and condition of the piping system. This is a
proactive program to mitigate potential problem water mains before eventual failures occur. The City developed a ranking and prioritization system similar to the Neighborhood Road
Program to select and coordinate proposed water main replacements along with the correlated streets that need to be addressed for their conditions as well. The overall intent is to
replace the water main in advance of the following year's road construction project to limit disturbance and minimize construction duration and impact. This program has and will
continue to see work on Balcombe Drive, Ennishore Drive, Chattman Drive, and Gilbar Drive in the Meadowbrook Lake Estates Subdivision; Llewelyn Drive, Llewelyn Court and Llorac
Lane in the Meadowbrook Manor Subdivision; and Center Street from 9 Mile Road to the southern City limits.

Traffic Control/Detours:
All construction will be performed half-width at a time. No detours are expected. Motorists should expect longer delays while daytime work progresses. Residents located in the work
zone on the side being worked on, may not have access to their driveways until the water main has been installed or the pavement has been poured and cured.

Work Status: 
All streets in the Meadowbrook Lakes and Meadowbrook Manor Subdivisions, as well as Center Street have been topped-out with new asphalt. Over the next several weeks, the contractor will be working on the lengthy punch list of items (mainly irrigation) throughout the two subdivisions. The contractor is also continuing to address the massive weed problem that developed with many areas of lawn restoration. Due to the time of the year with higher temperatures, it is expected that getting good growth that is acceptable be around late September.

Howell's Walled Lake Subdivision Water Main Replacement and Street Rehabilitation

Description:

Last year, the City completed an overhaul of the Howell's Walled Lake Subdivision's storm sewer system by replacing and upsizing the main run of storm sewer through the middle of the
subdivision or Martin Avenue. It was quickly decided that while the City is already in the subdivision, we take the opportunity to replace the problem areas of water main, line the
existing sanitary sewers and repave all the streets in the neighborhood. The following streets will be under construction during this project: Martin Avenue, Wainright Street, Linhart Street
and Paramount Street.

Traffic Control/Detours:
All construction will be performed half-width at a time. No detours are expected. Motorists should expect longer delays while daytime work progresses. Residents located in the work
zone on the side being worked on, may not have access to their driveways until the water main has been installed or the pavement has been poured and cured.

Work Status:
All water main, sanitary sewer and street paving work is now complete. The contractor will continue with restoration work and in the coming weeks, ensure all restoration punch list items are handled.

2023 Industrial Roads Rehabilitation Program

Description:
The City of Novi will be rehabilitating several public roads within two industrial parks (the southern quarter mile of Hudson Drive; DeSoto Court; Ryan Court; and Peary Court in the Beck North Corporate Park and Magellan Drive and Humboldt Drive in the Beck West Corporate Park). The rehabilitation method will be to discretely profile mill down the existing concrete surface; place a thin layer of asphalt; apply an interlayer fabric (to minimize reflective cracking); and cap everything with two more inches of asphalt. There are also some minor areas of damaged or severely deteriorated concrete that must be replaced. Finally, the City also added approximately 500-feet of street reconstruction on the far eastern portion of Drakes Bay Drive, in the Island Lake of Novi development, located off Wixom Road.

Traffic Controls/Detours:
Most areas of construction will be performed half-width or in thirds which will allow for access to each street and parking lot at all times. Depending on the operation, traffic flaggers will be utilized to guide motorists around the construction. During some daytime operations, motorists may expect longer delays. No closures or detours are necessary for the industrial road work. As for the Drakes Bay Drive reconstructive work, the contractor has been granted a complete closure of Drakes Bay Drive between Wixom Road and Saybrook Court. Residents located west of the closure will need to gain access from either Ten Mile or Napier Roads. This closure was necessary to quickly expedite the construction timeline and ensure a better, cohesive product. 

Work Status:
The contractor completed paving the "scratch" course of asphalt a few weeks ago on all the streets. On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week, the contractor expects to place the interlayer fabric and the 2.5-inches of new asphalt on all the streets as well. The contractor also placed the final lift of asphalt on the eastern 500-feet of Drakes Bay Drive just after the holiday weekend. This portion of Drakes Bay has been fully reopened.

Lakeshore Park Pedestrian Tunnel Replacement on South Lake Drive

Due to its age and condition, the City of Novi is replacing the pedestrian tunnel under South Lake Drive which connects Lakeshore Park to the Walled Lake beach.

South Lake Drive was reopened to normal traffic operations nearly a month ahead of schedule and the beach was reopened just prior to the Memorial Day weekend.

Ever wonder how a pothole is formed and why it seems to reappear from one year to the next? 

The main culprit is water: precipitation in the form of snow, ice and rain seeps into cracks in the pavement surface, freezes, and expands the pavement and underlying roadbed material. When temperatures rise above freezing, the water melts and creates a void or cavity in the pavement. The pothole is created when vehicles drive over the cavity, crack the pavement and loosen roadbed material. The pothole gets significantly worse as more precipitation events and freeze/thaw cycles occur throughout the late winter/early spring months.

The City of Novi Department of Public Works (DPW) works diligently to repair these nuisances on Novi roadways.  Crews are constantly patrolling for and repairing potholes.  DPW’s goal is to have reported potholes on major roads patched within 24 hours, and within 2 days for local/neighborhood streets. Community members should note that DPW works in partnership with the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) on the County’s major roads in Novi: Grand River Avenue, Novi Road, Ten Mile Road, Twelve Mile Road, Haggerty Road, Eight Mile Road, Napier Road, Pontiac Trail, and Fourteen Mile Road.

Q - Will the contractor work in front of my house on weekends?
The project work hours (based on the City’s ordinances) are: Monday - Saturday, 7a.m. - 7p.m. Any variations from this need prior approval from the City’s Engineering Division and Building Official.

Q - Will I always have access to my driveway?
For the majority of the construction project, you will have access to your driveway. However, if concrete curb and gutter and/or roadway is replaced, the City recommends a 5-day minimum curing time with no disturbance to the concrete during this time. There also may be short periods during the day where you may not have access to your driveway due to street or utility construction, but generally driveways will be accessible by the end of the day. Property owners will be provided notification during the project when access to driveways will be restricted.

Q - Will my driveway be replaced along with this project? 
Driveways are NOT being considered for replacement as part of the Neighborhood Road Program, but in some cases where the successful completion of the roadway is affected by the condition of the drive, the approaches or portions of them may be replaced. The portion of your driveway disturbed by the project will be replaced as close as possible to its original location and configuration as existed prior to construction. Unique patterns or coloring will not be replaced.

Q - What if I want to replace my entire driveway?
It will be at the Contractor’s discretion if they wish to be involved in replacing individual property owner’s driveways. The property owner shall coordinate these improvements themselves with the contractor, including payment. Please contact the project representative for further details.

Q - Will delivery or removal service be disrupted (mail service, UPS/FedEx and trash service)?
The City will coordinate with the Post Office, delivery services and trash provider during periods of limited access (as deemed necessary). The property owner should continue putting out trash as normal.

Q - Where will I be able to pick up my mail?
At the start of construction, the contractor will install temporary mailboxes and residents will be notified of the location. The location of the temporary mailboxes is coordinated with the Post Office. During construction, any mailboxes which require removal will be reinstalled at the end of the project. In extreme cases, when the mail carrier cannot deliver to your mailbox, you will be able to pick-up your mail at the local Post Office.

Q - Will the areas of my lawn that are disturbed be replaced?
Roadway pavement, concrete curb and gutter and/or driveway replacement will involve (in most circumstances) only minimal disturbance (6 to 8 inches). Areas will be replaced with adequate topsoil, seed and mulch. The contractor is responsible for as long as necessary to insure that proper grass growth and coverage exists, at the satisfaction of the City and homeowner.
 

Q - Will I lose water or sanitary sewer service during construction?
At no time will a house not have water and/or sanitary sewer service.

Q - Will you be repairing or replacing sidewalks in front of my property along with this street construction?
The City will be evaluating all sidewalks within or immediately adjacent to the defined work areas. Priority will be given to sidewalk ramps at road intersections in order to comply with the Federal American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) mandate. Replacement or repair of other sidewalks will be on a case-by-case basis and as budget allows.

Q - Will the school bus pick up my children up at the same location?
The City will coordinate with the schools to determine if an alternate pick-up location is required during construction. If a new location is required, the affected residents will be properly notified.

Q - Where can I park my car(s) while access to my driveway is closed?
Construction of the roadways will take place half-width at a time. Therefore, access will be provided to the driveways opposite of the construction. When your driveway is not accessible due to roadway construction, you will need to seek an alternate parking location. It is highly recommended that you negotiate with your neighbor across the street and reciprocate when your neighbors are affected by the same construction.

Q - How are landscaping features and lawn irrigation systems dealt with during construction?
Before work starts, the homeowner must remove all non-compliant items located within the City’s right-of-way. The following table lists examples of compliant and non-compliant items that are frequently installed within the public right-of-way:

Any non-compliant items that are not removed by the homeowner, will be removed by the City’s contractor and placed on the homeowner’s property. Non-compliant items will not be reinstalled by the City. The City’s contractor will remove and replace compliant items. The contractor will remove sprinkler heads from the right-of-way, bag and tag them by address, and store them for subsequent reinstallation. In some cases, drive approaches may be repaved with in-kind materials (i.e., asphalt or concrete) and standard mailboxes will be reinstalled.
